Emanoel Querette is a doctoral candidate in Public Policies, Strategies and Development at the Economics Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IE/UFRJ) (Brazil) (expected completion 2016), using Social Networks Analysis to analyse informal knowledge exchange in clusters. He has carried out research for Porto Digital, a science park focused on the Software and Creative Industries in Recife (Brazil), and was part of the team at the Department of Technology Policy of University of São Paulo (PGT/USP) established to map the Digital Games Industry in Brazil and propose public policies for the industry. He holds an MSc (with distinction) in Public Policies for Science, Technology and Innovation (2011) from the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), University of Sussex (UK).
